I'm assuming you have a cable box. Your cable goes to the box, the connection from the cable box can be s-video, component, or DVI. You can connect one of these to your projector and use the box to change channels. If you don't have a cable box, get one that is digital. I would want a box that had at least component outputs to connect to the projector. Vb
If no cable box, try to score an SVHS vcr. The svideo capability does seem to help quite a bit with SD, standard cable, even tapes if your so inclined.
Just hooking it up to a VCR through the Composite output of the VCR is a waist of time. The VCR won't deinterlace or scale the picture. The picture will be washed. A digital cable box or a TV capture card through your PC will give a better result. Capture cards cost $80.00 CDN.
