Could you give us any kind of status report on this film? I recall you mentioned in a response in another thread that we should "wait", implying that a restoration was in the works. Maybe I'm wrong, but this seems to be about the only Irving Berlin musical that hasn't had a decent transfer. "This is the Army" has to be one of his best, music-wise...if you like a good, wave-the-flag movie...which I do. Truly would appreciate your comments.

The restored version is set to premiere tonight (November 11-Veteran's Day) on Turner Classic Movies.

Isn't it also part of the new 'Warner Brothers and the Home Front' box set that came out today ?
