Good to see Fox continuing to give strong support to classic titles with their upcoming release on 6 November of The Young Lions. This film contains one of Marlon Brando's best performances as an idealistic German soldier as well as excellent portrayals by Montgomery Clift and, yes, Dean Martin! An intelligent story with a fine script and wide screen photography set against a war background rather than an action war film. I will certainly be purchasing this DVD.

The transfer is fine - 2.35 anamorphic.
