Looks pretty sweet! I can't believe what I'm reading though. What is this... the third release of this movie on DVD now??

Scott,

I guess that you could look at it that way, but you would have to add a qualifier. The first two releases were the same exact disc, just one was from Polygram and then from MGM once they took over the rights. They both included the commentary from Bryan Singer and Christopher McQuarrie that is included here. But on the downside the original discs had non-anamorphic transfers, and the original dolby surround audio track which seems to have been replaced with a 5.1 remaster.

Wow, can't wait. I have the LD with the Singer commentary which was poorly recorded and did not buy the original DVD release because it did not offer anything else I did not already have. Now I will have to buy it. Can't wait. :D :D :D

Yeah, this looks great. 2002 is really shaping up very nicely already with Tombstone, Groundhog Day, Sixth Sense, American Pie 2, Mad Max, and now this. And I have to say, MGM really does very nice work with special editions. I wonder if this is 2-disc? There are a lot of features on that disc.

Wow, another great release. If things keep going like this, I'll be broke before the year is over. :)
