The Thing HD - Printing Blunders or Disc Blunders? (1 Viewer)

Just got "The Thing" HD disc.....

I will not have the chance to check it out before this evening but noticed the following....

1.) Intial press reports had this as a "Combo Disc" which it is not.... HD only.

2.) This was listed as a Dolby TrueHD soundtrack. Only Dolby Digital + is listed on the packaging.

3.) Packaging reports this as a 1.85 presentation, which "The Thing" is a 2.35.


So.... Has anyone else got their copy early?

Haha. Universal still can't print their labels with any accuracy. I believe they misrepresented the aspect ratio for the last DVD release of The Thing as well.

You can't believe anything that's on the box I guess. The only way to know is to put it in the player.

Who knows what you'll find? None of us expected to find DTS on our Ace Ventura DVDs.
