I ordered it online from a store I visited but did not have copies (at least not on display) and chose in-store pickup. They'll hand it to me at the customer service desk, I guess. Ron, did you say you found a copy in the general area? I tried that, even looked in the Disney section, nothing. But they apparently have a couple of copies on hand - just not on the shelves.

I never expected to find it in the general population shelves.


I just went to the front desk in hopes that they had extras in

the back that had yet to be put out.


The best thing you could do is go to the front desk and have

them check inventory.


I was also told, prior to them checking, if not in stock they

could ship it to you for FREE -or- have it transferred from another

store and held for you.


Those are two excellent options I would have accepted if I had

not walked out of the store with copies today.


Let me add this, if I may....


I really detest these store-exclusive deals.

I never go to brick and mortar stores. Hate it.

Nothing worse than getting in a car to go to the store,

dealing with traffic, fighting with the general population

hoping for item to be in stock to get a copy of something

I could easily have bought off Amazon.


The only positive thing I can say about this second-time store

exclusive buying experience (the first was at Target for Gremlins)

is that each Blu-ray cost $10, which I found to be quite incredible.
Otherwise I would have waited for Amazon to start selling it.


Is it really necessary for studios to make these exclusive deals

with stores to sell certain titles? Special packaging I can kind

of understand, but limiting availability of a release I cannot.
