The NY Post posted its review of Rocco's today. But HTF will not let me post the link.
If it was a French restaurant, no one would know what they were ordering and no one would be complaining because they never had it before and don't know what the hell they are eating .Speak for yourself!
I only catch glimpses of the show from time to time because I couldn't stand sitting through an entire episode. But the first thought that popped into my mind is that for this show to follow the standard formula of other reality shows, Rocco's restaurant must appear to be failing!
Has Rocco thought about this when he signed up for this gig?
Will Gideon go postal the next time they make him get all dressed up just to send him home again? Is there no such thing as labour relations in NYC or Workman's Comp?
It seems to me that if he got hurt at work and he keeps being sent home Because of his injury, would he not be covered? Or am I just too used to living in the socialist state we call British Columbia?
That comedian-wannabe was horrible on stage. Could he pick a worst topic in New York City?Patrick - I couldn't agree with you more, although I would have to think that those jokes might have failed anywhere. He was annoying and not funny at all.

Did anyone else notice (or get annoyed by) the blatant "advertising" by Rocco when he told his office assistant to "log onto the AMEX Open site and take out a line of credit to get these people paid."That's been going on the whole time. Amex, Mitsubishi, and Coors Light. We're getting close to The Truman Show. Ford gets slightly more subtle treatment on Alias.
I'm not sure if that's worse than the flying graphic promos over the show right after the commercial break.

It sounds like this is another one of those series that's about to run it's course for the summer. It has run it's course. That was the last episode.
