I'm definitely looking forward to The Fog (1980) and The Burning. I'm sure once I read a review of Day Of The Dead (1985) and The Howling, I'll get those two as well. And there's a good chance that I'll get Lifeforce too. I'm guessing/hoping that the titles that Scream Factory had announced over the last month will take quite a while to actually get released (like I wouldn't be surprised if The Fog or other of yesterday's announcements aren't out until the fall of 2013).

I'll definitely be getting LIFEFORCE, finally anamorphic. As for the rest... I'm already satisfied with my standard DVDs of THE HOWLING and THE FOG, I haven't seen THE BURNING (very few slasher flicks do it for me), and only mildly enjoyed NIGHT OF THE COMET when I watched it on Netflix streaming a week ago, so it's 1 out of 5 for me, though I'm happy for the fans who've been waiting for these.

5 actually. This is a favorite of mine, and I can't imagine how this will look on Blu-Ray. I have never seen this look better than poor in the video quality department.
It has some really cool scenes for a low budget horror film.

Cliff Mac mentioned on Blu-Ray.com that THE FOG will get a new transfer and Scream Factory talked a little bit about the upcoming MELTING MAN DVD on their Facebook page saying: "This is not planned as a Collectors Editon but it will mark the first time it will be on bluray. Extras are still pending based on who's available to talk to us."

And here's an interview that was done with Cliff Mac at Horrorhound where he reveals more titles.

The licensing deals made between Scream Factory and Universal/Fox/MGM have been wonderful. I'm really glad to see that they are concentrating just as much on first time Blu-ray releases of very popular films as releasing films that were never even available on DVD. Here's my wishlist broken down by studio; I would think most of these have already been considered and if not, hopefully this plants the seed!

Well to go a step further out on a limb, I would love to see Scream/Shout do something that couldn’t be done before, consolidate Kolchak, since they seem to be doing a great job with the MGM holdings, why not both of Dan Curtis films, The Night Stalker/ The Night Strangler, then and I see this as the only way that Kolchak: the Night Stalker TV Series would ever get a HD release.

Sort of think of this as the same way that time life did all three pilot films then the series of 6M$ man in the box set. As for extras, the best one I can think of is originally the series was supposed to be 24 episodes, 20 were filmed, how hard would it be to get the remaining four scripts as a bonus, along with whatever else they could come up with. If nothing else I would love to see the two Telefilms done at the least.

Confused, Mlamarre, as a number of these were on DVD (and THE FURY, for one, is now on Blu). I suppose some could be redone, and some, like DEATH BECOMES HER, need to be upgraded to basic watchability.

I was suggesting Blu-ray releases to them; certainly DVD re-releases for most of those would be pointless. I posted it in November 2012, long before Twilight Time announced they were even releasing The Fury on Blu-ray and Shout has since announced they will be releasing Swamp Thing. The forum move ruined the formatting in the post and I can no longer edit and fix it.
