My first pick is Nirvana. One of three bands in which I own all their albums. Many bands were considered for my first pick, but I couldn't risk losing Nirvana. Arguably the most influential rock band in the late 80's early 90's. They were the band that brought me into the genre.

Ack, I'd go crazy if it was songs. Albums, maybe. I think artists is best, though. It's more likely to piss someone off when you draft a whole artist/band's repertoire as opposed to just one song or album.
