This is going to be a lot of fun, although I feel sorry for the guy/gal that goes up against anybody with the holy trinity.

One spot left.

I'll be back tonight with my pick. A pic of who you choose is encouraged :emoji_thumbsup:

I'm in too. Looks like this contest could use a female perspective.

Note to Cary: I think you listed Jim K as Kim K. You might want to fix that.

Fixed, thanks.

My first pick is Nirvana. One of three bands in which I own all their albums. Many bands were considered for my first pick, but I couldn't risk losing Nirvana. Arguably the most influential rock band in the late 80's early 90's. They were the band that brought me into the genre.

There's a master list in the first post. The 24 hour rule is now in effect. If someone passes 24 hours without a pick, the next person in line can pick. Makeup picks can be taken anytime. Think before you select. Once you've posted your pick, it stays.

Thanks Jen for joining. I was hoping for a female member.

Well as far as I'm concerned Dome just won this thing and I'm now battling everyone else for second place. :frowning:

I'll take that as a compliment. :)

We could change this thing around and pick songs instead. But that's up to Cary T. Just a suggestion.

Ack, I'd go crazy if it was songs. Albums, maybe. I think artists is best, though. It's more likely to piss someone off when you draft a whole artist/band's repertoire as opposed to just one song or album. :D

Ah, I had to blow off steam. I'm mostly mad at myself for not thinking of this draft idea, cause then I would have gone first and got the Beatles and been happy no matter what else happened. Oh well.

Beatles, Stones, Dylan...

Sigh.

My hearts really not in this anymore. :frowning:

I'll half-heartedly take

Jimi Hendrix

Exactly! Songs or albums could be another draft down the road.
