I want to do this because I'm curious of the HTF members taste in music.

Like the movie and dream girl draft, here we pick our favorite music artist/band/musician/composer. Your selection must have at least one album. In case of composers, I'm not familiar with that so make your best judgment. Looking for 16 participants. First come first serve. The method of drafting is the same as the current occurring drafts.

I was under the impression that we draft artists and each artist must have at least one whole album to their credit.

Perhaps some clarification is in order.

ok I'm in

Are we picking Artist/single Album?

Or are we picking Artist/entire output?

How many rounds are we going? In this draft, I could go 50 without breaking a sweat.

Another question: can we group solo careers/spin-off groups as one entry? For example, could a draft of Rolling Stones also include Mick Jagger and Keith Richards solo? Could Talking Heads also include Tom Tom Club & David Byrne?

That's correct. No drafting albums or songs; just the artist.

To clarify a question: Band members who went on to have a solo or other group careers are separate picks as long as they release one whole to their credit and not affiliated with their former band's name. ie. The Beatles and John Lennon are two separate picks. In John Lennon's case, please indicate it's his solo career.

My initial intention was to go 10 rounds. It still is. But I also have no problem going 15 or 20 here. So it's subject to expand if the majority agrees.

Three spots left!

Two more needed!

I've got my ideal list narrowed down to 32, but I expect at least 5 of these to be picked before my first turn comes up (including the "holy trinity": Beatles/Stones/Who).
