i'm beginning to fell like the juggies have left
get over it, this is a tv comedy series (and a very good one at that) not a porno
you won't see any nudity on these dvd's (as it was not shown on the tv show) nor will you with any future releases
all i want is all of the episodes to be included as in 115
Well, as I said earlier, the entertainment value of this show was very hit or miss for me, and everytime they blurred something out, I was always irritated and felt the 'entertainment value' of that episode dropped. I always looked forward to a dvd release so that I could get away from Comedy Central's stupid censorship (they censor the films they show too, but I sure as hell wouldn't buy dvds of their versions of those films) and a more entertaining show.
It's their choice to retain the censorship, and my choice not to buy it, which I won't. It's your choice to buy it, which you will. Enjoy the show, while I enjoy spending that money on something uncensored and funnier.
Mark, I'm saying that Comedy Central may be more apt to release a show uncensored on DVD than the company that's releasing the Man Show. Both of the shows AIR on Comedy Central, but the fact they're being released on DVD by different companies could have something to do with one being censored and not the other.
I wonder if they will have the uncensored version of the basketball game against the twins?
It's strange that some posters here turn their noses up at those Man Show fans who want an uncensored release. It's not like we're asking for some sort of Sesame Street Uncensored release. The Man Show is all about guy humor and guy fantasies, of which naked women comprise almost 100%.
That's what the Man Show taps into, and being uncensored is what it's really all about. Censored video is disappointing, especially from their taped skits in studio.
By the way, does anybody know who the new hosts of the show are?
I don't think when the twins played strip basketball they thought they would ever be shown on tv uncensored. I'm not "turning my nose up" at it, I would love to see it, I just understand why it may not be uncensored.
I will post what I just posed in the 'Coupons and Bargins' forum's 'Weekly Roundup' thread just to set the record straight
I didn't think about the audio (and missed a prior post in the same thread that mentioned the audio was uncensored). I was trying to help your cause, Mat, by getting people to think about purchasing the set for enjoying it the way it was broadcast, and not hold out hope for seeing something different. Plenty of Playboy releases on DVD if they want that.
If I ruffled your feathers in the process (and I clearly have), I apologize. I'm a little cheeked, though, that you "fired back" quite so hard. It's hardly a "completely false and inaccurate statement"; the only part of it that was wrong is, in fact, about the audio. Correct? I'm basing that on your own post, the one that I'm responding to. If I'm wrong, it's because you're not being clear.
I should be equally clear in that I've never seen the show (not having cable/satellite), and had no intention of buying the set (having spent too much money on other DVDs recently already). Not a lack of interest...just not willing to spend money blindly when I have little to spare.
If you're a fan of this show's broadcasts and have $17.99 to spare at Best Buy, I encourage you to pick this up.
