Reminder: if you trade in the PS3 version at GameStop before 9/2 you can buy the PS4 version for 1/2 price ($25).

I personally prefer physical media as I can take it with me to play at a friends house or when I'm done I can resell it if I wish, sometimes for a profit. Can't do that with a download.

Actually you can, now you can even have your games on an external drive and just bring that drive to a friends house to play, at least on Xbone, but you can always log in on their PS4s and download em too. TLOU took me 35 minutes to download today at it was over 25 Gigs. But your preference is fine. I have not taken disks to friends houses since college. It's not important to me but I get that others have different priorities.http://news.xbox.com/2014/05/xbox-one-june-features-previewhttp://majornelson.com/2014/05/21/external-storage-real-names-and-more-coming-with-xbox-one-system-update-in-june/http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/games/playing-across-multiple-consoleshttp://www.polygon.com/2013/10/26/5031066/playstation-4s-digital-game-sharing-policies-explainedhttp://us.playstation.com/ps4/features/ps4-faq/

I don't take games to friends houses either just sayin it was an option. The main reason is for resale value if I don't like the game. I have returned all my PS4 games after finishing them, and some right away like Watchdogs which I didn't like and got most, if not all, of my money back thanks to the Gamers Club ar Best Buy. Can't do that with a download. ;)

I prefer physical media because it will still work well after the servers that host the games go down. Look at what is happening with some PS3 games' DLC. You can't even buy a chunk of Rock Band's songs anymore, but the track packs are available for like a buck each.

I picked up the remastered PS4 version yesterday....and WOW!!
The graphical upgrade is worth it alone, but the 60 frames per second is just amazing. In the option menu there is a setting to lock in the original 30 fps mode, and the difference is night and day(30 being jaggie, rough, and quite frankly clunky compared to 60). I'm so glad I didn't really get too far into it on the PS3. I'm definitely gonna beat it on the PS4.

I can see your point Sam. I'm still a physical media guy, but I did buy a couple games digitally, and it is so much easier, and less messy than switching discs out(especially with my 200, or so games). I plan to sell my game collection someday though so....

Hey Guys...

Just started this game early this morning.

Tutorials not very good in helping with a predicament that I am in.

I am just past the beginning credits. Found myself in a secret room behind
a bookcase. With my female partner. Loaded up with gun.

Now, I did not know this -- and found out only by watching a YouTube walkthrough --
that I have to crouch and give my female partner a boost back up.

There is nothing in the tutorials that describe how to do this maneuver. I have
pressed every button on this darn controller. Nothing puts me in that mode.

So, I am a little pissed that the game maneuvers are not better described and that,
already, I am stuck not being able to execute an action.

Help would be appreciated.

RONYou should be seeing a little green triangle icon (top button on controller) when near a ledge and pressing it automatically puts you in position to boost the other person up. You will start to recognize these ledges since I believe there is yellow tape dangling that clues you in. You are VERY early in the game and I'm sure you'll get used to the controls very soonBtw, what did you think of the opening of the game?

To answer your question in spoiler...

Was that the big emotional point of the game, the loss of his daughter? Or is there a bigger one?

There was no green triangle at the point where the crouching and boost was supposed
to take effect. I will go back to the game in a bit and see if I missed something.

Is this a very long game? Wolfenstein seemed to go on forever.

That's one of them RON. There are many. The game took me about 15-20 hours the first time around I believe. Also you should be near the ledge looking up at it to trigger the icon I believe. Btw, if you don't LOVE this game RON, I will never recommend another. ;)

It seems like an okay game. I got fed up with Wolfenstein after coming very
close to its end. I had to put it down.

I wish the action controls were universal across games. For the most part, I
suppose they are, but each game doesn't use the same controller combos
to do the same actions and it becomes tedious to learn them all over again.

Ron. Regarding the opening of the game.
I thought that was one of the best openings ever. So well acted and written. When his daughter was killed I was shocked and touched. It was very emotional for the actors and there's a free making of that you can download which shows that scene being performed in motion capture.

Tino,

There is absolutely no triangle marker indicating an action that needs
to be taken to crouch down and lift female up.

I am wondering if this has something to do with PSN being down. This was
a downloaded game.

I am going to have to search through online walkthroughs to see what the
problem is.
