"The Eye" is the scariest film I have ever seen and I love films like "The Shining", "Ring" (japan), "Kaiiro", "Dark Water". But "The Eye" is even scarier than any of those. I could´nt even finish it on my own. Had to wait for my girlfriend to come home and watch it with me....:b

I have the R3 disc.....its 16:9 anamorphic with DTS. no extras though.

I saw this at a local theater here in Atlanta. Technically well done, with some spooky parts, but too much "influenced" by (i.e., it ripped them off) The Sixth Sense and the japanese Ringu. IMHO, of course.

So LION GATES is releasing THE EYE in the states...lets hope that they don't mess up the priginal version of the film...like what other studios do to other asian film...
