Sam - here's another from season one. I have been listening to the BSG scores all morning and this one's a good one (though short)

La-La Land Records and NBC Universal our proud to present the soundtrack release to the epic SyFy Channel Special Event Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome. This prequel to the critically acclaimed hit series, Battlestar Galactica takes place in the midst of the First Cylon war. As the battle between humans and their creation, the sentient robotic Cylons, rages across the 12 colonial worlds, a young, talented fighter pilot, William Adama (Luke Pasqualino), finds himself assigned to one of the most powerful battlestars in the Colonial fleet: the Galactica. Full of ambition and in pursuit of the intense action that the Cylon war promises, Adama quickly finds himself at odds with his co-pilot, the battle-weary officer Coker (Ben Cotton). With only 47 days left in his tour of duty, Coker desires an end to battle just as much as Adama craves the start of it. Though they clash at first, the two men forge an unlikely bond when a routine escort mission with an enigmatic passenger (Lili Bordan) turns dangerous and becomes a pivotal one for the desperate fleet.
Blood & Chrome is the second prequel from the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica series. The first was Caprica, which aired from 2009-2010. Though it only lasted one season, the series and its music cultivated their own loyal following.
This is a limited edition cd of just 3000 units. The first 200 customers who purchase the cd directly through La-La Land Records (
www.lalalandrecords.com) will receive an autographed booklet signed by composer Bear McCreary at no additional charge. QUANTITIES ARE LIMITED. YOU ARE NOT GAURANTEED A SIGNED BOOKLET. SALES ARE BASED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.

Do you have a bead on when a Walking Dead soundtrack is coming out? I was disappointed to see the one being released on March 19th is a song compilation.

The word right now is that AMC has no interest in a Walking Dead score release (shakes fist in anger).
There is a Facebook page - "The Walking Dead" Fans Cry Out for a Soundtrack Album - which sees itself as an online petition of sorts (3,295 likes). Bear has urged his fans to let AMC know what they want and, with luck, AMC will wake up and get going on a score release.

Seriously, Bear is a master!
Great to hear that DaVinci's Demons will get a score release.
