The Americans has been surprising throughout. I was uncertain about style change from pilot to regular episodes, but it won me over. It's been some. Exciting, fraught viewing. And marriage to Martha! Again, I didn't see that happening so soon, or at all. Does she die next season? How can that be.maintained?The back and forths with Nina. The constant balancing act between Phillip and Stan keeps the show moving along.Well they return after a summer, and Elizabeth is healed, or will her convalescence be part of the next season?
