There is a reason for this, you need to level match, once you level match it should sound the same, for subwoofer bass you need to raise the levels by 10 decibels when using PCM, of course PCM can suffer from a bit more jitter depending on the design of the AV Receiver and Blu ray player and how good they are but i doubt it makes a huge difference unless you have golden ears.Joseph Bolus said:
