I also want to see the short lived 1992 sketch comedy show called The Edge on DVD. IIRC, Columbia Tristar owns the rights to The Edge. The Edge was short lived sketch comedy show starring Julie Brown, Jennifer Anniston, Wayne Knight & several other stars who would later go on to become famous.

I'd like to see

"The Job" - the Dennis Leary cop show.

"Ducktales"
"Animaniacs"

And I would really like the studios to speed up their releases of "The Simpsons" and "Rocky & Bullwinkle"

I'd like to see:
He-man and the Masters of the Universe (orig) too in season sets or one big collection. It's corny, I know, but they are still enjoyable to watch.

My other 2 tv on dvd shows that I was hoping would be released/announced have been!
Roswell
Home Improvement

Great list DouglasRober! I'd forgotten all about Dinasaurs ("Not the Baby!") and Alien Nation.

Another show I just thought of was Life with Louie. I loved that toon!

WOW, thats insane.

I agree with you about 100% about "Scrubs" though.

Walker, Texas Ranger might be good for a laugh as well. The clips they show on Conan are hilarious.

BTW, I think the first couple of seasons for Just Shoot Me and Newsradio are already out.

The (New) Woody Woodpecker Show (1999) 40 half-hours (120 cartoons in all). I think five separate volumes of eight half-hours each would work.

Repeat the aforementioned Profit, Alice & Newhart and add Grosse Pointe, Savannah, Fresno, Falcon Crest, Julia, Birds Of Prey, Legacy, Titans, Homefront, Fired Up, Dark Shadows (Revival). The latter allegedly will be released when they're thru with the daytime set. I'll settle for best of sets of Santa Barbra, Capitol, American Bandstand, David Letterman. I'm gonna be poor.

For what it's worth, I'd buy complete runs of each of these if they were ever put out...

Get Smart (1965)
Batman (1966)
Fernwood/America 2Nite (1977)
Hill Street Blues (1982) Oh please, please...
Late Night with David Letterman (1982) A multi-disc "Best of" set like the Carson Collection would be just fine.
Police Squad (1982)
St. Elsewhere (1982)
thirtysomething (1987)
The Jackie Thomas Show (1992) Since Roseanne is on the schedule, I guess this could be possible, though a long shot.
TV Nation (1994)
The 11 O'Clock Show (1998) British, featured Ricky Gervais, Ali G, etc... a region 2 release would be fine.
Action (1999)
The Chris Isaak Show (2001)
Andy Richter Controls The Universe (2002)
Line Of Fire (2003) A time-slot replacement for NYPD Blue for a few months, I thought this was really well done. IMDB.com lists the DVD as available, but it's wrong, it's not the TV show, but an unrelated movie with the same name.
Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (2003)

These have had initial releases, or are scheduled to, and I would gladly buy more... hopefully there will be more...

Kids In The Hall (1988) The first two are great, keep going...
The Larry Sanders Show (1992) I've heard rumours of a "best of" forthcoming but I really really want complete seasons.
NYPD Blue (1993) I sure hope Fox doesn't give up on this series.
NewsRadio (1995) The first two seasons are finally around the corner, hopefully the remaining seasons will follow.
Jackass (2000) Would really like to have a complete season 1.
Scrubs (2001) I'm sure there will be more, just listing it becase I really like it.
Arrested Development (2003) Hopefully the next set will come soon after season 2 wraps.

I also really hope Fox puts together some sort of extras disc for M*A*S*H. There are tons of outtakes, interviews, specials... just toss it all on a second disc to be included with the final episode DVD.

Anyway. My wallet is ready...
