Technical Question about Music DVD's (1 Viewer)

I'm sure the music forum is the right spot for my query;

Being downunder in R4 PAL land I'm always concerned about the 4% speed up in the soundtracks of my PAL music DVD's.

My question - if a music DVD (Concert) is recorded in PAL (Europe?) does this mean the R1 release would be 4% slower?

Hope people understand my question and what I'm getting at...

I'm not an expert, but I'm betting that would have to be the case. The most likely way to convert 25 frames to 30 would be similar to how they do it with 24 frame per second film. That leaves one frame left per second, approximately 4% of the material, to carry over.
