Quo Vadis question: what's the original AR? IMDB says 2.20:1, but since it came out in 1951, that doesn't sound right to me...

QV is academy 1.37:1, it's also technicolour 3 strip, hence the forthcoming ultra-resolution edition next easter...

Although imdb is often wrong about tech spec's, maybe it's referring to a later 70mm blow-up re-issue, if there was one, if so there might be a 6 channel soundtrack to accompany the disc a la julius ceaser and gwtw...

Well QUO VADIS must have looked appalling in a 70mm blow-up with about half the top and bottom of the picture matted out. IMDb should not include that 2.20:1 ratio in their list of technical specs. They should only include the aspect ratio of how the film was originally and correctly shown.
