Sub at $400...Hsu or Adire? (1 Viewer)

So, for 400, which is the better sub, the STF-2 or the Rava.
This is for Home theater only. Music is listened to on other system.
I'm leaning toward the Adire because of the finish, but it will be tucked away in a corner, so it doesn't matter.

Thoughts?

You can't go wrong with either one, both are good subs at that price point. For a short time I had a VTF-2 which I liked so I'd go with HSU but that's personal preference.

I'd personally pick the Rava over the STF-2. The Shiva is built like a tank and the 250W amp is very good quality as well. I'm not taking anything away from the Hsu, but at this at this price point I feel the Rava is a better option. Also, I've used both that amp and driver in subs I've built for local customers so I actually have hands on experience with the Adire products.
