I happen to be in Geneva on it's 4th of July ( I forget what they call it). I remember firecrackers going off all over the place and wondering about people being hurt. The American family that I was staying with told me that the Swiss are so fanatical about obeying the law, they made it illegal to get hurt that day. Sure enough accidents went way down...at least that's what they told me.
