You know, I am tempted by the gift set. However, if this
Q4 is anything like last year, I don't want to spend the $80.

Ordered the 3D Blu-ray combo for $25. Damn good price.

Yeah, if ever there were a gee-gaw that would temp, that laser pistol does. But not $80 worth. Will order the 3D combo.

By the way, learning the release date will probably be September 10th.

Was wondering if the price dropped on the gift set as the picture link is showing $69.99, but when I click the link it is still coming up $79.99 on Amazon's site.

The Amazon link (below the photo) is showing me $79.99

Not to say that price won't drop in the future.

Those gift sets have a tendency to sell out during the preorder phase...so if you think you want the phaser, better preorder it now and cancel it later if you decide against it.

If it was a universal-programmable phaser TV remote, I'd have bought it in a heartbeat.
And not just because of the delicious irony. :D

    Pre-ordered. Should make a fantastic looking/sounding Blu-ray.

I think the BB exclusive is the $8 MovieCash and the streaming video footage on CinemaNow, plus the early streaming release before the blu.

And I just pulled the trigger on the 3D version. At $24.99, why not?
