Space 1999 A&E Bluray Set is simply SUPER!!! (1 Viewer)

Fans of Space 1999 here in North America can be very proud

A&E has released a wonderful bluray set with Space 1999 Season

One Bluray. It is simply what the fans and people who like the

series are waiting since many years.


The print will be the High Definition master created in the U.K in 2005

by BBC Resources.So exactly the same master as Network in the U.K

And about the extras and bonus these bonus are the most interesting

and completely new to us here in North America. The bonus and extras

will be identical to the U.K Network set with the exception of trailers,

horizon segment and Ice Loly commercial previously available on A&E

dvd set released some years ago.


The major extras not included is The Metamorph(the first episode of Season 2)

It is not included now but think about it: it can means that A&E will bring us

a Space 1999 Season 2 Bluray set in the coming months, Space 1999 is

the most super tv series from U.K and the series deserve to be on Bluray.


Enjoy and buy it because it is a dream come true. A&E has made honor

to Space 1999 and this set is superb for the top quality of the print for

the episodes and the wonderful complete new extras/bonus. Space 1999

Bluray Season One really deserve to be included in your DVD,Bluray collection.

This is what I was most curious about, the extras, 'cause the UK edition is getting a shitload. This is why I'm pissed that I don't yet have a blu-ray. Dammit, man! Anyhow, this is good to know. Never was much of a fan of Season 2, except for the BRINGERS OF WONDER two-parter. That was excellent!
