Those are all from this season yes. Season 5. They are not in the correct order however which pisses me off. Scott Tenorman(Episode 501), The Shit Hits The Fan(Episode 502), Cripple Fight(Episode 503), so far so good but then they threw in Proper Condom Use(Episode 508). DAMN YOU WARNER!!!!!!!!!

Damn Warner, damn them all to hell! I'd rather watch crappy VHS recordings straight from Comedy Central than reward Warner for putting SP out like this. Simply put, no season boxes, no dice! And while I am at it, where is a SP: BL&U special edition? I am sure Parker ad Stone are willing to participate.

I, for one, am happy to see this, even though the episodes are a little mixed up. I happen to know that Shit Hits the Fan (502) aired first for Season Five, then Cripple Fight (503), then Super Best Friends (504), then Scott Tennorman Must Die (501). Proper Condom use didn't air until 3 weeks later, although it is one of my favorite all-time episodes so I'm happy it's on there. The episode order on the DVD at least seems to be close. Check out the studio site for the actual airdates.
I used to have every single episode of this show on tape, including the first showings for many. Then I let my cousin borrow it and he proceeded to accidentally throw them all out. 8 tapes. All episodes. Including the MTV Movie Awards short, the Tonight Show short and the New Years countdown short. *SOB* I really hope these show up in future DVD's but I'll take what I can right now. I'm just happy these are recent. Since I've watched every episode multiple times (I'm a FREAK for SP), these would be amongst the ones I've seen the least of.
But of course, season-by-season DVD's (starting off after Rhino's Vol. 6), would be best.

Warner has forced me to download the episodes (on VCD) from the binary groups. I'd give all my VCD's away if they released season box sets of the show.

Whether the entire series would eventually
be offered by these themed sets or not is
not necessarily the problem.
This is the most grossly mishandled release
of television product from any studio.
When a television series is released to DVD,
fans of that series -- the ones you are most
targeting -- want to collect the episodes in
order of airing.
Overseas, Warner has been releasing South Park
episodes by season in boxed sets. This is the
CORRECT way a television series should be released.
I got so fed up with Warner's inept handling
of this series in the United States, that I bought
a code-free player and purchased the PAL versions
(region 4). Though I spent a crapload of money,
I am very happy.
It just amazes me that every other studio seems
to understand this whole TV SERIES on DVD concept.
Warner Brothers, on the other hand, the studio that
was once THE leader in DVD support, has
fallen to the wayside.
What upsets me even more is that thousands of
fans have been railing Warner Brothers for over
a year about this situation. Warner Brothers knows
how we all feel.
When I last spoke to Warner Brothers, they blamed
Comedy Central. Said it was their decision.
I asked the folks at Warner to give me contact
information for the decision makers at Comedy Central.
I asked them 3 separate times for this information.
Warner Brothers ignored my requests. They had no
interest in helping the cause.
Some people may shake their heads and wonder why
there is such an uproar about a cartoon show. The
answer is simple: South Park is not just
a cartoon show. It is Comedy Central's most
successful show in their history. There are
hundreds of websites dedicated to the show, and
millions of fans.
When every single studio out there is going
out of their way to release TV product in a
responsible manner -- considering its fanbase --
it's an atrocity to see that Warner Brothers is
acting so irresponsibly with the domestic release.
You can blame Comedy Central all you want. We
asked the studio for their help. They ignored us.
We sent petitions. They ignored us. We made a lot
of noise on the internet. They ignored us.
I hate to say something like this -- and I make
it a policy to rarely do this -- but I call for
members not to purchase their newest themed release.

I don't think that WB has a clue about anything. They have repeatedly ignored our requests for South Park and only given in begrudingly on several other issues that we complained about (i.e. Willy Wonka, Cats & Dogs, etc..) I think that they're hoping we'll just give up and go away. We can't let them think that and need to be vigilant. At this point, I'm assuming that they want to sell everything twice, they'll wait until the series ends it's run (Maybe 5+ years away) and then release season by season boxsets.

You can get a region free DVD player for $100-$150 on Ebay and just buy the sets from Amazon. That's what I'm thinking about doing. Even though I have all the episodes on Real Media.
