Sony flat screen owners - is this normal? (1 Viewer)

I just purchased a KV-32HV600. I have noticed that when text is displayed on the screen it becomes increasingly blurry on the edges (approximately the outside 2-3 inches). Is this normal for flat screen technology?

I had a 32FS100 and the sides of the screen were blurry as well...mine also had two big white lines on both sides when there was something white on the screen and black on the sides...these flat screens dont seem to be worth the extra trouble...

geometry and edge focus problems are common with flatscreens.
