That is a "big can of worms", but I'll keep it simple.
Speaker A and speaker B do not sound the same. Even the BIC DV62CLRS sounds different than the DV62(the box is different and the CLRS has two woofers)....
"Sound stage continuity" is keeping the sound the same speaker to speaker.
That is the "holy grail" of the audio world(why I suggested 3 or 4 pairs of the Dayton)...but...
We have to temper home theater with the "reality of the room"...and the "reality of your use".
My HT in my house(two houses, one house has 3, the other house has 1)...
1. Onkyo TX SR 707 paired with BIC V830(from the 90s) and BIC V820, with the V62 center. This system also had "width". The width speakers are Optimus X55AV, as they sit in a window sill.
2. Integra DTR 7.9 paired with 2 pairs of Infinity Crescendo and a Kappa Center(the closest I could come up with as the Crescendo "never had a center")
3. TX NR1008 paired with DCM TF600 and TF350. The center is a Soundscape, cause again...the TF series "never had a center".
4. Integra DTR 5.8 ran with a total mishmash(bedroom HT that was created not even 2 weeks ago) using Polk S8, Radio Shack "linaeum something" and an Audiosource center.
The subs are...
1. M&K something(the tag fell off 10 years ago)
2. JBL DPS 12 that had its amp die and is now run from a Sony TA 110N (I bought this DPS 12 at a garage sale, not working, for $5)
3. Home made box with a 15" "who knows what" dual voice coil driver that has survived a Kenwood M2A for 7 years. Whatever it is, it must be good.
4. A JVC of unknown model.
If you notice, none of my theaters "meet" the ultimate definition of "sound stage continuity"...but they are as close as I can get.
Do I have room for a BIC V830 as a center? Heck no.
Do I have room for a DCM TF600 as a center? Again, heck no.
But I stayed with the same manufacturer for the center. The DCM TF600, I tried 4 different DCM centers to finally find this one.

Alright, so I ordered the Onkyo NR-515 since it was on sale. Only $300 at Amazon!.
Now I need my speakers.
So 1 Pair of the Sony SS-B3000. No BIC DV62si, correct?
Next, I think I'll be fine with the Dayton B652's as my surround. I can always upgrade them to the SS-B3000 for a better sound stage.
My Sub will probably be the BIC V1020. Seem like a great Bang for you Buck Sub.
So my center channel. You said I shouldn't go with the FH6 LCR since it's a horn. I know horn's provide a more direct sound instead of the dome's wider sound. But, my couch is directly in front, and I really won't have anyone else on the sides. And the FH6 looks pretty amazing, aesthetically. I think I might ceiling mount my center, so do you still recommend the DV62CLRS, or would there not really be a difference?
Thanks anyways, for convincing me out of those terrible HTiB's. I don't know what I was thinking. :pc:

Personally, I would not mix in a horn speaker...You could purchase both and see if you like the horn over the 62CLRS. Amazon has a nice return policy. Sure you'll be out a return fee(I think, been awhile since I returned something to Amazon "just because")...but you won't have a 2nd guess.

I'm about ready to buy them now, but I realized for the same price, I could get the Energy Take Classic 5.1 for about the same price. They're a little small, but from the reviews I've read, they sound amazing. They have a high efficiency at 89db and it seems like their sub is a little more powerful than the BIC v1020 (correct me if I'm wrong).
Would you recommend those over what I'm about to get?

Energy take Satellites reach 110/120hzhz. The BIC DV62 reach 50hz.
The energy take subwoofer couldn't reach 33hz if it had 900 watts behind it. The BIC V1020 reaches 30hz with ease..

Anyways, what center should I get for this? Should is stick with the BIC or should I get a Polk center?

Are those on walls any good compared to the Sony SS-B1000's or Dayton B652's? I don't really need dedicated on wall speakers.
And how does the center compare with the Polk CS10
