Then there's the fact that the bad guys can whack Clark with van doors, metal pipes, and whatnot and send him flying all over the place with injuries, but apparently, he can withstand being crushed with a cinder block. Huh?

I know, these have got to be some of the laziest writters I have ever seen!

Sometimes I wonder why we cut this show so much slack. The inconsistencies are getting ridiculous.

Well, even if Clark's skin and bones are tough, he still only weights ~85kg or so. Apply x amount of force to an 85kg object and it goes flying.
