Small form factor speakers (1 Viewer)

My brother wishes to set up a new home theater system at his house. However, space is a major concern. He is willing to spend about 2G's on the speakers and receiver. He wants to have speakers that have a small form factor and will be relatively unobtrusive. I tried steering him to JBL S-Series but he thinks the sizes of the speakers are too big.

Any suggestions? Quality is very important, as is size.
