Simpsons + Toshiba 5109 = Audio Problems? (1 Viewer)

Is anyone else having problems with the dialogue on the Simpsons discs? I'm using a Toshiba 5109, and while the commentary track plays ok, none of the other tracks will play dialogue (although it plays sound + music!).

I have the Panasonic dvd-rv80 and Im through disk 2 with no problems .

nope for me. 5109. the only thing that i had was lock up on the credits on disc one for shoe 4 i think it was.

I now think it may be the receiver (Kenwood VR-407). I tried the discs in my PS2, and had the same results. However, I can hear dialogue if I send the signal directly to the TV. Man, what a pain in the butt.
