Simple Remote needed for Techno-phobic parents (1 Viewer)

My parents have a simple set-up. TV, VCR, Direct TV and a DVD player they never use.

The direct TV remote also controls their TV, however it keeps losing its memory. Changing batteries doesn't seem to help. I'd like to get them a new remote. But it needs to be really easy to use. Extremely idiot proof.

Ideally I'd like to be able to program 2-3 macros for them.

I love my MX-500 and it is simple to use but it would be overkill for their needs.

Any suggestions? I'm going to check out remote central but I always value the advice I get here.

Thanks

Tom

You might consider a One for All 8811, a Radio Shack 15-2104 or 2116 or a Sony RM-VL900.
