Did anybody else watch this? I thought it was great. Definitely a season pass for the TiVo. If you missed it, try to catch a repeat, as this looks like the kind of show that you can't get into without seeing the introduction to the show's premise in the first episode.

i watched it tonight.....It was hilarious, yet had some dramatic moments at the same time....I suggest people who didn't see it, to catch one of the many replays of the pilot this week.....Great show, with an interesting story and very funny....

I thought it was great. It reminded me a little bit of Piers Anthony's novel On a Pale Horse. Very cool show. I'll definitely keep watching.

It is based on that book Vlad.
Ellen Muth is a dead ringer for Kristine DeBell, an actress those of us of a certain age remember for an adult version of Alice In Wonderland.
Caught the first episode this evening. Except for the use of Que Sera, Sera. (an absurd empty-headed tune if there ever was one) I did enjoy the show.

Ah, yes, they don't make pornographic musical comedies based on classic children's literature like they used to. I don't see the resemblance to Kristine DeBell, but maybe I was looking elsewhere!

There is something about Ellen Muth that I find attractive and yet I also feel that she's rather plain looking. Her nose, for example, is not exactly the cute little button of a supermodel. But like I said, I'm attracted anyway. Her appearance seems to be suitable for the character.

Then I need to revisit Heathers. :) Blue Velvet managed to give that song a whole new cool, so there's hope.

Complained about Que Sera Sera and forgot to remember they used Dead Egyptian Blues, which I love!

Caught the rerun and I really liked what I saw. They seem to have all the elements for a great series here. Enough of an open ended concept so that we won't be bored and enough rules so they can't be lazy with thw writing.

Ellen Muth was also a pretty good find.

I have not seen it yet.

The creator/writer, who exits after the third episode, has credited the Piers Anthony book as an early influence but it is not an official adaptation.

What was "On a Pale Horse" like?

I also caught the show on a repeat and enjoyed it.

Episode 2 was fairly laid back. The scene at the waffle house cracked me up. In some ways, I like the angle of the dead going back and working dead end jobs :)

The scene at the waffle house had me pondering.. would the boys in the bathroom be charged (criminally?) Hmm.

I have seen the show and I loved it. I am hooked. I hope the rest of the episodes are as good as the first 2.

There must be a reason why George's appearance has been getting worse and worse as the show goes on. Next week's preview has more of the same. All the other characters look normal, but George looks like she hasn't washed or combed her hair in weeks.

I predict that this will keep up until she decides to accept her fate, or retrieve some minimum number of souls. The more she resists, the worse she will look.
