I'm not especially a huge fan, but just really curious...according to your sources, Neil, is the impossibility of season six of Mister Ed just a reflection of diminishing sales figures or is there something else preventing it?

Diminishing sales + music costs for theme song = NO RELEASE

I would like for Shout to stop holding the Mr. Magoo theatricals for ransom, first and foremost.

Is Nickelodeon being stubborn, or is Shout not even trying to get more Nick shows? We may never know, but those would still be nice.

I would be way on board for a finishing of BIG VALLEY!!!

But a real 'wish' for me (now that WA has stated they will finish Maverick and release Young Maverick and Bret Maverick) would be that Shout! would get the rights to SANFORD, the late spinoff of Sanford and Son!!

Great show. Unfortunately, intelligent, well-written shows don't do well on DVD. Especially ones released from crappy 30-year old dirty 16mm transfers to 1-inch tape. No, it didn't do well.

I wish they'd do something like ABC Weekend Specials. Loads of stars before they were stars. I was watching The Gold Bug from 1979/80 and it had a very young Anthony Michael Hall in it. Pre-Six Pack and Vacation. Some of those are real gems and they are being traded around with collectors who I'll bet would all buy a complete series set at the drop of a hat.
