Seeing as Shout Factory is doing a great job releasing shows like Simon & Simon, Blossom, Son Of the Beach, California Dreams, Room 222, Adam 12 and Mr Belverdere.

It got me thinking about what other shows Shout should release, if they could get the rights to the shows that is.

Shows I would like to see:
10-8: Officers On Duty (2003) starring Ernie Hudson (Buena Vista Home Video)
2000 Malibu Road (1992) starring Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Beals (Aaron Spelling Productions)

Angela's Eyes (2006) starring Abigail Spencer (Universal Home Video)
Any Day Now (1998) starring Annie Potts and Lorraine Toussaint (Spelling Entertainment)?
Baby Boom (1988) starring Kate Jackson (MGM/UA Television)
Blind Justice (2005) starring Ron Eldard (20th Century Fox)
Boston Public (2000) starring Loretta Devine and Jeri Ryan (20th Century Fox)
Central Park West (1995) starring Gerald McRaney (Paramount Home Video)
Century City (2004) starring Hector Elizondo (Universal Home Video)
The D.A. (2004) starring Peter Outerbridge and Felicity Huffman (Warner Bros. Home Video)
Darkroom (1981) hosted by James Coburn (Universal Home Video)
The Division (2001) starring Bonnie Bedelia and Lisa Vidal (Paramount Home Video)
Drive (2007) starring Taryn Manning, Nathan Fillion and Amy Acker (20th Century Fox)
E-Ring (2005) starring Kerr Smith, Benjamin Bratt and Kelly Rutherford (Warner Bros. Home Video)
Ed (2000) starring Thomas Cavanagh (NBC Studios)?
Eyes (2005) starring Tim Daly and Eric Mabius (Warner Bros. Home Video)
Family Law (1999) starring Kathleen Quinlan and Dixie Carter (Sony Pictures Home Entertainment)
Father Dowling Mysteries (1989) starring Tom Bosley (Viacom Productions)?
Good Morning Miss Bliss (1987) starring Hayley Mills and Mark Paul Gosselaar (Buena Vista Television)?
Jake 2.0 (2003) starring Christopher Gorham (Viacom Productions)?
L.A. Doctors (1998) starring Ken Olin and Sheryl Lee (Sony Pictures Home Entertainment)
The Lyon's Den (2003) starring Rob Lowe and Elizabeth Mitchell (20th Century Fox)
Medical Investigation (2004) starring Christopher Gorham and Anna Belknapp (Universal or Paramount)?
Midnight Caller (1988) starring Gary Cole (December 3rd Productions)?
Misfits Of Science (1985) starring Courtney Cox (Universal Home Video)
The Mountain (2004) starring Mitch Pileggi and Oliver Hudson (Warner Bros. Home Video)

Promised Land (1996) starring Gerald McRaney (Paramount Home Video)
Relativity (1996) starring Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Lisa Edelstein (20th Century Fox)
Robbery Homicide Division (2002) starring Tom Sizemore (Universal Home Video)
Savannah (1996) starring Robyn Lively and George Eads (Paramount Home Video)
thirtysomething (1987) starring Timothy Busfield and Ken Olin (MGM Home Video)

I hope Room 222 really does become a reality. That one is number one at the top of my current list.

    Others:

    Julia
My World and Welcome To It
    The Paul Lynde Show
    The Smith Family

The rest of Flipper maybe? MGM is sitting on that. [IMG]

How about Courtship of Eddie's Father.

More Japanese monster TV shows. Spectre Man for one. I guess BCI is doing a lot of that.

    They have been phenomenal.

What I would like Shout! to release:

    Mysterious Ways
    Peacemakers
    Flash Forward
    Quincy S3
The Fall Guy S2 (Unfortunately, Fox will probably release this so I hope nothing is substituted or edited. They really did number on S1 and I have been really pulling for Shout! to go after this.)
Ed (I wish this one was possible for them because Brian Ward is a huge fan. It has to be released with the original music intact. Also, I would love to see the unaired pilot included.)
    John Doe
    The Naked Chef (R1)
Oliver's Twist (the 30 remaining episodes)
    Jamie's Great Italian Escape (R1)
    Jamie's School Dinners (R1)
    Jamie at Home (R1)

I'm happy with what Shout Factory is doing.....However, I wish they would do something to rescue one of their own releases: SCTV!!!! There's still so much left to release and yet this show seems to have been abandoned by them. Most likely a rights issue, but it's still sad not to have them...... [IMG]

For anyone interested, Sony owns the distribution rights to Mysterious Ways. We all know they're not going to release it. I emailed them about it and got the standard no published release date yada yada, but that at least confirms they own the rights to it. Also an email from Lionsgate said that although Lionsgate produced it, Columbia Tristar has the distribution rights.

I'd love to see Shout! release this, but who knows if they could get the rights. With all the new stuff they're releasing now, who knows if they would even try. I would just love to see this show on DVD!

I would love to see the third and final Volume of Swamp Thing. I've really enjoyed the first two sets a lot, very fun and cheesy show [IMG]

Absolutely. More SCTV. Especially the final Cinemax year. I don't remember music performances that final year, so maybe that might help.

There are some good suggestions in this thread.

I'd also add "James at 15" which seems like a good fit for Shout along with their other titles "Freaks & Geeks" and "Undeclared".
