Yes, 9/2 is a big day. I'll be getting CHEECH AND CHONG'S
NEXT MOVIE along with a couple others.

I believe I saw where SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY is also
scheduled for 9/2.

August and September are both going to be a killer.
9/2 , though, is probably going to end up being the biggest day of the year for me.

probably spend about $200 it looks like.

Once you eliminate the inevitable non-OAR ones, that list will be depressingly shorter. :frowning:

There's only maybe a half-dozen items on that list I think even might be non-OAR. I could be wrong, of course, but I don't think the possibilities for MAR on that list is very long.

I'll only be spending $15 from that list as Where Eagles Dare is the only thing that interests me. :D

Now if you want to talk about Aug 5th then thats a different story. :)

For me, I'm only interested in a couple of Eastwood titles along with the second season of the Outer Limits and first season of Dick Van Dyke. Other than those titles, the releases look pretty weak to me.

What comes out August 5th?

For me, I'll probably get 24 Day 2 and Angel 1 & 2. Unless there's more to that list...

Oh yea, and Alias

Well there's 10 title on there I'm interested in, about 6 of which are in danger of being non-OAR, so, 6 out of 43 might not be much, but 6 out of 10 is a big deal. :)

TV Shows are starting to complicate my life :) August will be the biggest month ever in terms of money spent since I started in with DVDs 4 years ago. My list looks something like this: DS9: S4, Babylon 5: S3, Futurama: S2, Will & Grace: S1, Chicago, Vacation 20th Ann. SE, LOTR:TTT, Once Bitten, and Simpsons: S3.

September 2 will bring: Alias, Angel, Stargate... and maybe AbFab depending on what exactly Absolutely Special turns out to be (uprgrade to definitely if it contains The Last Shout.)

Thankfully September tapers off after the 2nd with just Sleeping Beauty and Monarch of the Glen: S1

Hercules: Legendary Journeys: Season 1

July

Dave, you can scratch these off the list. They are just repricings, from $19.98 to $14.95. They were first released in September 2002.

I noted in another thread that DVD File mislisted these recently as "first-ever DVD debuts." They're not.

the Alias and Dick Van Dyke sets alone are going to come to about $100.
i've heard good things about season 2 of Outer Limits also but don't know if i will pick that up, and then when you toss in about 4-5 regualar titles, thats going to be one expensive day.

its not just the money at this point.
at about 500+ discs now, i'm starting to run out of places to store these.
i'm going to have to seriously thin out my collection to make room for probably around 75 new titles thru the end of this year alone.
