Pre Order is in. Love me some Clark Gable as a military guy.

One of the best submarine films made so I'll be ordering this one plus another five of those Kino titles in September. Just hope they don't screw the pooch.

Does anyone know the full extent of what Kino license from MGM? It certainly seems like they've gotten some gems.

I think it's many of the UA titles that MGM controls now. Twilight has released The Train and plan on releasing some other UA titles like Birdman of Alcatraz.

Twilight says they have close to 100 MGM controlled titles. They posted that in the Marty Thread when it got so hot the quality of these releases.

Nice to see probably the most realistic WWII submarine film making it out.

So things are strangely quiet on the review front when it comes to this movie - anybody got their copy yet, and if so, how does it look and sound?

I have, and it looked very good, very clean with nothing to distract from enjoying the film.
