Took an idea I saw on this forum from David Lange. This was a simple set-up and fairly inexpensive.($80 miter saw was biggest expense, can use more later) Took me about five evenings after work. Just finished tonight....;) A few more tweaks to edges and maybe some plants around the front corners, possibly backlighting....? You will get the idea.

The material is speaker grill cloth. I bought it from Parts Express. They did however "short" me a yard of material and it also had a 12" hole in it:angry: Luckily I could work around that. I removed the grills from the actual speakers. They advertise the material as "virtually 100% acoustically transparent." So far I can't tell much of a difference in sound.

You can also use several fabrics from guillford of maine. The most common is FR701 and runs $15/yard (66" wide) from Silentsource.com. It comes in many many colors.
