It was pretty good last night. I was impressed by Kim Campbell. I don’t know how she was as the PM but she seemed to be fairly well spoken last night.

I noticed at the end that Rep. David Dreir was missing when they did the wide shot of the guests. Did I miss that he excused himself early or did he leave because he was upset?

One thing I can't stand about Maher is that he makes a joke about someone and then takes it back.

"[Joke about Bush]. I kid, I kid Bush."

Either make fun of them or don't. Other than that, Moore made for some interesting discussion last night.

I don't think many people do know how she was as the PM. She held the position for what seemed like maybe a month or two.

Not one of the better shows last night (8/7/04). Maher kept harping on issues that didn't engage the panel (e.g., the health problems associated with high fructose corn syrup, one of Maher's favorite hobbyhorses). Steve Harvey had the best lines, but his body language said that he had no interest in being there.
