I agree Tom. Not washing your hair every day does not mean not showering every day. When I had hair long enough to style, I usually only shampooed it every three days or so, but I showered every day. If you take care of your hair, it doesn't smell bad. Really helps you cultivate the messy look, too.

Anyway, I thought that episode was the worst one so far. I got the feeling that the place would be a sty once they got back into regular life, and for some reason I get the feeling that the guy's singing career is not taking off any time soon.

I didnt care for the episode too much either.
We had a hard time watching. The guy was just gross as was his home.
Thats the second house in which a family lived(with kids) that was unberable.

I am no neat freak but I couldnt believe it.
The guys singing was terrible. He needs to stay as Backup.

I really enjoyed tonight's episode. "Before" reminded me a bit of my college apartment. Maybe I can translate that into motivation to get off my ass and clean the place up a bit. There were some great one-liners tonight, as well. Hopefully some of you guys remember the good ones.

This ep was definitely better than last weeks, that is for sure.

That guy was on fire when he was getting ready. You would think he was late for his dream job interview or something. I thought he was going to start leaving a trail of fire around the house he was moving so fast!:D

There were some good one liners tonight, but for the life of me I can't remember any right now.

I've seen 4 of these, and tonights was by far the best! Too many one-liners to count, plus the "snugfitters" and that back...

a good episode. as usual, most of the good one-liners came from carson. the ones that i remember

"are you a pitcher or a catcher?"

and my fave: "hugs, not drugs"

but the one guy who does the house decorating, he said something about the guy being a bad after-school special. that was pretty funny!

boy, that guy had a lot of porno. makes my collection look meek... :b

that guy got lobster twice in one week. i thought for sure he was gonna splatter it all over his girlfriend. and what was up with his speed prep? then when he cut himself biting off that shoe tag. and shoving all the clothing into those bins?

did he learn nothing from the fab 5? :)

Oh Joan Crawford!! I thought this episode was the best of the bunch, I was laughing so hard at times.

The Snugfitters scene had me laughing so hard, you could see the Fab 5 was really laughing at that, and as the guy said "You guys are hard." Nothing is sacred when the Fab 5 comes to clean you up. The "Barely Legal" porn mag was just the icing on the cake. His girlfriend must know about the porn by her reaction when he told he the guys found his stash.

The scene with Carson and the crewman trying to put the contact lense in was also too funny, "Your eye is going to want to close up just like a sphincter." There is no way I could of put a contact lense in my eye with Carson being Carson right next to me, I would of been laughing just like the crewman was. "Are these snug fit lenses?"

I agree, that guy was going nuts while he was getting ready, why he was going so fast is a mystery to me. The Fab 5 comments while he was at dinner was great, they also thought he was going to splatter his Lobster all over her. She was quite pretty btw.

"Hair gel is so 1984."

"Did you just put your gay on me?"....Not sure if that was after the "Hugs not drugs" line.

I loved the Tip given at the end that went something like this:
If you shave chest hair it will make you look more defined, and "Other" things Bigger.

So true.

Carson: So, how do you dress for a date?
Andrew: I put on a better shirt.
Carson: I didn't see any of those in there.

Carson: Look, this movie is about girls who like to eat.
(puts tape in VCR and plays)
Thom (or Jai?): But the man's doing all the eating!

Great tip on finding the right waist size pants by wrapping it around your neck. I never heard of that before. Of course I had to try that theory out during commercial break and it worked!:emoji_thumbsup:

Hunter, so did I. After I did it I was like "Huh, that's trippy." How would someone find that out?

Don't forget they Fab 5 are on Leno again tonight. Last night they were just guests, Friday night they are give the Tonight Show the treatment.

Did anyone see them on Leno last night BTW? Carson seemed really tame and to be taking his visit really serious. It was odd that he wasn't all over the place as usual.

Don't know why. Other than Carson, none of them are very flamboyant or OTT, and Ryan said even he was keeping a lid on it last night.

Line of the night from the Leno show, from Carson as usual:

Spa lady (To Leno): "We are rubing this deep into your dermis," while giving him a facial or some sort.

Carson: "Everyone likes it deep in the dermis."

:D :D :D

I can't believe they aired that, but I guess it is late night...:)

well, i'm not 100% sure i liked the leno makeover. it's just not "leno". he's a pretty low-key guy and (i think for him) all that fab-5 stuff was just too much.

but i loved what they did with the guest room (or whatever it was called) but i wasn't 100% on the set. the couch was kinda cool, but the desk didn't work for me...at least not in that environment.

I think you're right Ted. I think Leno had alot of fun with the guys, but I think it was a bit much for him. The guest room looked good, but I wasn't sure about the set either. Those lamps would have to go.

BTW, Thom has alot of talent for interior design. There was an article in one of my magazines, (GQ, Details, or Esquire, not sure which,) that had several pages of places in New York that Thom did. They all looked amazing to say the least.

Costner looked uncomfortable at first....but at the end of the show, he was sitting on the couch with his arms around two of the guys, smiling!

Last nights show was a hoot except my wife and I were grossed out with Carson's comment about the chocolate on the finger and the reference to the gay community:D The straight guys girlfriend was quite nice looking and had quite the nice "boobage" as Carson pointed out.
