Problem with 5.1 output with xbox 360 add-on drive (1 Viewer)

So before I was able to get dolby 5.1 from my HD DVD's but now I can't. HD DVD will only output in 2.0 sound, regular dvd's no problem I get 5.1 and it used to be fine before I did the update from playing The Matrix HD DVD for the first time.

I checked xbox 360 audio settings, checked my yamaha rxv-658 receiver's settings and still no success.

Anybody else ever have this problem? What do I do?

i have the xbox with the add-on i havent had that problem before. is the console hooked to live? I know from time to time the have updates. also did you check the dvd menu on the movie. i wish i had the movies so i could check mine but the wife didnt want me to get it since i have the complete set on regular dvd already.
