Problem playing Game of Thrones discs on Panasonic blu-ray player (1 Viewer)

Hello Everyone :

Two years ago I gave a Panasonic blu-ray player to a friend for Christmas. Three days ago her fiancé updated the players firmware. They performed the update to continue watching the first season of Game of Thrones. I received an e-mail from them last night telling me that the Panasonic will not play the second season of Game of Thrones. Has anyone else had issues with the Game of Thrones blu-ray sets and Panasonic blu-ray players?

I didn't have any issues with Season 1. I got the first disc of season 2 from netflix and my player says its not compatible. I'v had this player for almost two years now. For the last few months, anytime I put in a regular dvd, it says no disc in the player.
