I'm pretty sure it's fake.

The eyes are exactly the same, except mirrored, rotated 8 degrees, and a very bad re-done pupil is on the right eye.

The jaw looks like it's from a pic of Brando in The Godfather, and I'd assume the eyes and nose belong to various Michael Jackson photos.

The fact that Snopes says Status: Undetermined.

So not even they are convinced of the att gen. office.

As a graphics artist who basically does this stuff for a living, the photo does look pretty fake. The hard edge around his neck line, the mouth is not perfectly in line with natural anatomy and the eyebrows look painted on.

If this is a REAL/untouched photo, I say we pray because the rapture is here

p.s. I forgot to add that the lighting on his face does not match the lighting of the room. Also note the lightswitch is extremely warped (which suggests possible photo manipulation).

if the individual in question suffers from either of the two syndromes listed at the snopes page, his eyebrows could very well be painted on. i thought it was fake until i saw his pictures from when he was younger, and the two possibie diseases he could have. i'm not absolutely certain it's real, but almost.

While his 'younger' photos are pretty creepy looking, they don't seem to defy the laws of human anatomy as the 'older' photo does.With THAT thing running around in this country, we ARE in hell!

i see where you are coming from, and it sounds like you would know how to look for an altered photograph better than i would, but i can't get past the fact that this photograph originated from a website operated by the state government of ohio. his particular page on the website is getting an extreme amount of traffic compared to the rest of the offenders. unless it is an inside prank that nobody has caught on to yet, i dont see how it could be anything but real. i agree with you about the actual photo, it does look doctored, judging with my very amateur photoshop skills. but i dont see how this photo could remain on an official website for so long if it is not authentic.

I am not counting out that it may be real, but I am definitely leaning toward the side of "fake".Does anyone know if http://ohio.esorn.net (where the photo came from) is even a real official site? The Lucas County web site is http://www.lucascountysheriff.org/sheriff/ - Wouldn't the sex web site also be .org? why is it .net?

if they aren't an official site, they have a great deal of information about sexual offenders in the lucas county area. find the page of our scary faced guy, and replace the number in the url with a different number, there are many more images and documents for other sex offenders.

on a sort-of-related note, a good friend of mine's stepfather was interested in checking out the local sex offender's list/website, he went down to the police station to inqiure about sex offenders in the area, and somehow (i don't know all the details), he ended up on the list himself! i guess it was quite a process to get things corrected, but he finally did. must have been quite a scare for a little while.

I just searched on this, and from what I can tell (not by the picture, mind you) is that it is indeed real.

Here is a link to Ohio's Attorney General website, and if this site is a fake then there is a seriously problem in the United States.

Well here is a similar report located on www.esorn.ag.state.oh.us - if its fake don't you think by now it would have been removed. Just imagine the bandwidth problems this is causing them from the attention it is getting from all across the internet.

Official US Gov site + real physical disorder that can cause such a disfigurement + high school photos which could easily look like he did twenty years ago = probably real
