I've always found the Sara/Michael relationship hokey as hell. In fact, I consider Miller and Purcell the weak links of the show. Neither are particularly good actors and are always upstaged by the other characters. Without Robert Knepper and William Fichtner, I probably would drop this show. . .

Yeah, same here. Killing her off early is much better for the show then having anything else happen. I always found her the weak link. The issue in that TV Guide article made it pretty clear the network thought so too and figure she needed to die at the midseason break.. and when she wouldn't give, they just said "fine" and cut her. Well, to be honest, it's probably best for the show.

Well, I got my wish as far as the box was concerned.

Better to just kill her off than using a stand-in that you need
to keep obscuring from view.

I dunno. The show has just lost its chemistry. I'm really not
into this season at all. I'm sticking with it just because I feel have
invested 2 years in and that *perhaps* there is a small chance
the show could redeem itself.

Killing her was foolish. They should have just used her and L.J. as hostages off-screen, since we already know that the conspiracy will kill at the drop of a hat and they really don't seem to have gained much from denying themselves the chance to use the character again.

They could always later on say it was a skillfully made movie prop in the box. It may stretch believability, but this is Prison Break. Besides, the Company has access to a fortune, and movie production companies are able to make believable likenesses of specific heads when called upon.

Since this was preempted, does anyone know when the episode is scheduled to air? Are they just skipping a week?

They knew that they'd have the game so it was a scheduled skip week.

Fox used to say "In two weeks, *show name* returns" but it seems like they keep that quiet now and just hope that you tune in for a show and when it's not on, you just watch whatever else is on.

No. Today's game was originally scheduled for 4pm ET, but was rescheduled to 7pm last Monday. There had been a new episode scheduled until the change was made.

To answer Greg's question:
The episode that was scheduled for tonight is airing next week. And November 5 will be a two-hour episode to make up for the pre-emption and get them back on schedule (October 29 is a scheduled pre-emption for a possible WS game).

Such an unfortunate occurance. Two full seasons of character developement simply gone like that... Really a tough hit to the show... Im not sure how they can recover from this... PB was really one of my favorites from the very first episode. Although they couldnt keep it going forever I supose. The first season was one of the best seasons of any show I have seen. Now its a take it or leave it show... Monday was a sad sad day for me.

I saw that and it made me wonder how many episodes are there this season. Assuming they play two episodes on November 5, there will only be 13 episodes in the fall and assuming they stop on May 19, there will only be 6 episodes in the spring (and they can't play two episodes in the spring because 24 is on).

They're not stopping on May 19. The season finale will be in June, along with 24's. There should be 22 episods this season.

The show is keeping up its snail pace of really going nowhere.

Except for a minute or two of new revelation you can easily skip
episodes this season and not miss a thing.

Here's something for everyone to ponder that I just happened to
think of while watching last night's episode.

What has been the status of Michael's wardrobe this season?

I noticed he was wearing a long-sleeved shirt in god-awful hot
Panama. Along the neckline there is no traces of his tatooed body.

I wonder if everyone has forgotten that Michael's character was
tatooed across his entire body. I had really forgotten about it
since Season Two.

I haven't seen Michael shirtless since Season One so obviously
that aspect is being covered up. I'm just wondering what Michael's
general attire has been to cover up the tattoos.

I really have to pay more attention to how they are
covering that all up.

On another note. Anyone here watching Heroes?
It seems the new guy who just entered prison is the same
Irish guy who betrayed Peter Petrelli and the group last week.
