If I split the preouts on my receiver will it cause any damage or problems.

My only experience with this was splitting the subwoofer pre-out in order to run 2 subwoofers for a while in my system. Didn't hurt anything.

Pre-outs will easily drive 600 ohms... many will drive lower impedances than that.

Input impedances on power amps are on the order of 10K ohms. So you can probably drive 10 amplifiers or more with one pre-out.

In other words... splitting should be no problem.
