Going to Europe over the summer and I'm wondering if it's possible to hook up my portable dvd player to a foreign power source. I know I can't just plug a player in, but are there any devices which will let me do this?

Depending on your player, you may be able to charge your DVD player around the world. If your player doesn't allow you to do so, you can go to Radio Shack and buy a small voltage converter. That will be sufficient for low-power equipments such as portable DVD player.

Yep, just hit Radio Shack, tell'em what you're going to be doing, and they shoud take care of you. I went to Europe last year, and stocked up at Radio Shack. Also, keep in mind that there are different plugs for W. Europe and England, if I remember correctly. Not quite sure where you're going though. Have fun!
