I've just ordered an RP91, and I see it has onboard DD and DTS decoding. Since I'll be hooking up the 6-channel outputs for DVD-Audio, I'm wondering whether to use those for DD and DTS material as well, or to continue using the decoders in my Technics amp (SA-DX1040) through an optical cable. Would there be any advantage/disadvantage either way? Thanks for your comments.

The standard answer here is to listen both ways and decide which is better. You could also compare specs on the DAC's of the player vs. receiver to see which is better.
