AWSOME, to say the least.
I see you've done something that is often overlooked as a real neat feature and that is having the walls angle in toward the screen.
You have good reason to be very happy.

When I first saw your pictures, I thought you were pulling our leg! (kidding us by posting professional pictures from another site). Construction pictures proved you were for real!!
Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!

Very cool! I especially like your comfortable-looking recliners, instead of actual movie theater seats. That's the whole point of home-theater -- comfort!
So, do you charge your friends / family $5 for drinks and snacks from the snackbar? :)
A minor thing: on your architect page, you have the sentence, "we had long shats over the internet." You should replace "shats" with "chats". (What you have now has an amusing, but undesired, meaning in English.)

"Wow" is all I can say! You have a very nice home theater. The angled walls have me particularly impressed, but everything is so nice.
One idea I'm going to borrow for my own (lesser!) theater is the small LCD monitor in the back for previewing movies. That should save me from having to shorten the life of my projector's lamp just to get things set up or to program my VCR or Dishplayer to record something.
I would say keep up the good work, but it looks like you are finished! So go enjoy that thing with your lovely girlfriend!

Great work there. I only wish I had the time, money, knowhow and everything else you have to make such an awesome theater.

Dan:
The screen right now is 1.33:1.
I have a lot of old laserdiscs which are not in widescreen, so therefore I think I have to keep this for a while.
But on the otherhand I havent got a real screen yet, just a big bed-sheet.
I dont know what to buy?
What would you do?

It works really good for previewing movies.
I bought a lcd monitor used in cars.
I only regret I didnt got one in widscreen, that woud have been cooler. But the prize was to high right then...

Outstanding!
I find the bedsheet screen hilarious though. That's the way I end up doing things, all out on one aspect and make-shift on one until I recoup. Kinda like the college days when I always had THE top-of-the-line computer hardware with a 21" monitor -- on plastic milk crates with a beanbag for a chair...
