PF60 and 3 amps (1 Viewer)

I have a Belkin PF60 power conditioner. The PF60 has one bank with two outlets specifically designed for high draw amps. I have a Outlaw Audio 7125 that will go to one of the outlets. I also have two NHT 250watt sub amps that I also want to plug in.

Should I "split" the other amp outlet for the two? or just use one of the other outlets designed for the audio stuff?

They claim each bank is optimized for stuff like digital equipment or audio or the amps...but I'm not sure how critical it is. Could it affect the warranty?

Unfortunately for me, Belkin tech support is closed for the holiday weekend until Wednesday.

Hi Kurt.

It's much less important that the power for the subwoofers be conditioned. (Think of these things as large motors/fans that move air). Dirty AC power wont affect these much. In fact - these power devices may actually inject noise into the AC wires.

The Outlaw Amp is a very different story. It takes small electrical signals and multiplies them many times and adds power to them. Small electrical signals or small noise on the AC - both get amplified.

Start with just the Outlaw amp on the conditioner. You can always add the subwoofers later - but I dont believe you will find it necessary.

I'm a tad confused...wouldn't the sub amps act the same as the outlaw amp? There are two individual amps that drive the subs. They are separate from the sub speakers. I mihgt be mis-understanding. Is it that the outlaw amp is reproducing almost full range vs. the sub amp only reproducing the low frequencies? and the potential effect of the conditioning or lack there of
