Screw Zelda. Does Midway or Acclaim have anything coming out this week? ;)

Thanks, Glen.

Didn't see it mentioned, but Circuit is giving away a free game case with the purchase of Wind Waker. They're also selling the Prima strategy guide for it for $4.99, which includes a "Circuit City exclusive free Zelda collector's artbook", whatever that is.

I didn't see the thing about the guide. Do you have to buy the game there to get the guide for that price? If not, I'll be running there to pick it up. :)

I'm holding off on the GBA SP at this point. I actually don't like the rechargeable battery and the fact that you need an adapter for headphones. That's just me though. I'll stick with my AB modded GBA... for now. :)

No I don't think you have to buy the game there to get the guide for that price, but you do have to wait until the 25 or 26th to get the guide at CC, or at least that's when it says it's available at CC. I got mine ad matched at Wal-Mart today for $4.99, don't usually buy game guides, but for 5 bucks what the heck. :)

I think it's because there is over 500k presold already. I think there is a great deal more interest here for Zelda than DW4. Dynasty Warriors may be a great game, but I doubt there is the interest for that one that there is for Zelda.

Not only do you get the TWW Prima guide for $4.99 but you also receive a book on the art of TWW, according to the advert.

Can you get the GameCube with a free game for $129 at Circuit City? Wasn't sure if you could combine the deals or not. Thinking about getting one for my mother in law, for her birthday & mother's day.

I'm pretty sure you can. Choose from Mario Party 4, Resident Evil Zero, Metroid Prime, or Star Fox. The only thing I saw was it was not vaild with the platinum gamecube.

I picked up the Zelda guide today. A pretty sweet deal in my opinion. For $5 you can't go wrong.

As I recall from the ad, the Nintendo deal was included. If it was me... I would price match the deal at Target and get the game and system there as they have some of the games with Mem Card 251's for the same price.

Just a thought.

about the free game with the gamecube- it may not be limited to just those four games. i was at Target the other day and saw a small postcard size sheet that said you get a free game with the purchase of a gamecube, and it didn't just list those four. animal crossing's the only other one i can remember, but there may have been more. and i'm not sure if it was just at Target stores.

Well, more sports games at EBgames have hit the $19.99 mark for the Gamecube.

Tiger Woods 2003
NBA Live 2003
NHL 2003

That and Outlaw Golf for $14.99 for the Gamecube.

I might be picking up a few of these at EB when I get Zelda today. Ugh. :)

Also, Shenmue II for the Xbox hit $9.99 at EB. I gotta get me a pricematch from CC on that one.

The guide for Wind Waker is still definitely worth it for $5, I browsed through it and it looks pretty good, but the 'art book' is incredibly disappointing. It's nothing more than a 15 page mini strategy guide.

Saw a few B&M Gamecube game deals while browsing this afternoon:

Best Buy has Mickey's Magical Mirror for $9.99

Toys R Us has Disney Skateboarding for $9.99, Super Monkey Ball 2 for $29.99

Costco has Minority Report for $19.99

my best buy has Smashing Drive for the Gamecube for $10. i remember it getting average reviews (i think because it was a short arcade-style game), but $10 sounds nice.

also, my Target has Conker (N64) for just under $5.00. i'm not sure why i never picked it up before now, but for $5 i snagged one. i guess they got sick of having 25 copies sit on the clearance shelf.

EBGames.com has Mark of Kri for the PS2 for $9.99. It is also this price at the B&M. This is an excellent game, and especially at this price I'd recommend it. If you missed out on the bonus disc for Zelda:WW, you can also still order at EBGames.com and get it.

I'm thinking about picking up Mark of Kri... I'm just not sure if I need to add yet another game that I won't be playing anytime soon...

Yeah, I guess I need to. :)
