I, too, hope for BEYOND RANGOON, but this is a Columbia property (God help us), so address your request to them, as have I.

Since Paramount released afew of Jerry Lewis's movies this year, do you think the rest of his movies will be released or is there a reason for it not happening?

I was surprised to see The Geisha Boy and Who's Minding the Store not released with all the others. Also surprised that some weren't even released on Region 2 DVD.

Anyways, hopefully Paramount will release the remaining Lewis movies as well as the Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis movies. Including SAILOR BEWARE, PARDNERS, LIVING IT UP etc...

Thank You

It's hard to keep up with which studio has what films these days. I saw Midnight for the first time a few days ago on TCM. Really enjoyed the movie.

Dave, many of those titles are not Paramount.

ARMAGEDDON is TOUCHSTONE.

ENEMY OF THE STATE and CRIMSON TIDE are BVHE.

TRUE LIES is FOX.

BACK TO THE FUTURE is UNIVERSAL.

Just to name a few I know off the top of my head.

1. Ace in the Hole
2. The Miracle of Morgan's Creek

I don't think element's are the problem. I saw this film at a revival house shortly after Wilder's death and they seemed to be in pretty good shape. I think this is just some executive looking back at the original box office receipts and saying "This was a flop - why do want to spend more money on this?" I hope that I'm wrong, as this is easily my #1 most wanted DVD, and has been for several years now. My VHS copy taped off of AMC about 6 years ago, is really starting to look bad.

This is a bit of a long shot, but I'd like to see 2 moderately priced sets of the 11 Henry Aldrich films. This could be no-frills, as long as the print quality is equal to that of Universal's Ma & Pa Kettle and Abbott & Costello sets.
