The Uninvited (1944) would be a welcome addition to my dvd collection
That title belongs to Universal at this point I believe.

I believe that Mr Blythe has spoken before about the chances for "Robinson Crusoe on Mars" & they were not encouraging if I remember correctly.

Unfortunately none of the titles he mentioned in Post #9 are of interest to me.

Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean (1982)
Back to the Beach (1987)
Hannie Caulder (1971)
Mahogany (1975)
Big Top Pee-Wee (1988)
Foul Play (1978)
Leadbelly (1976)
Mandingo (1975)

Horror Titles
The Skull (1965)
Dr. Terror's House of Horrors (1965)
Tales that Witness Madness (1973)
The Man Who Could Cheat Death (1959)- Hammer Film Production with Christopher Lee. I'm not sure if Paramount still has the rights to this, because I expected it to show up with this year's Hammer titles.

THE PRESIDENT'S ANALYST - next year?! Woo-hoo! :) :emoji_thumbsup:

There have been some great catalogue titles from Paramount this year. It's so great that Once Upon A Time In The West is coming out - and in what looks like a truly great edition. :emoji_thumbsup:

THE MIRACLE OF MORGAN'S CREEK (1946)

DANGER: DIABOLIK (1968)
Any chance of a commentary by Video Watchdog's Tim Lucas?

ROBINSON CRUSOE ON MARS (1964)
Any chance of liscensing the extra features that were on the superb Criterion Laserdisc?

PHASE IV (1974)

THE NAKED JUNGLE (1954)

CRACK IN THE WORLD (1965)

ACE IN THE HOLE (1951)

LEADBELLY (1976)

THE CONFORMIST (1969)
It was recently restored on film and there is actually a Japanese DVD from that restored print - without English subtitles that has a superb transfer.

Thanks for this year's catalogue titles! :emoji_thumbsup:

Best of luck for 2004! :)

Are there any plans for the silent film, Wings?

Also, the other Paramount silents that have been released to VHS and/or LD:

Docks of New York (Josef Von Sternberg)
The Last Command (with Emil Jannings, directed by Sternberg)
The Covered Wagon (James Cruze film)
Running Wild (with W.C. Fields!)
Old Ironsides
The Ten Commandments (Cecil B. Demille)
The Wedding March (Erich Von Stroheim...and Fay Wray! Get a commentary with her!)

It would be SO neat to have a Fay Wray commentary on The Wedding March...or at least interviews. That would mark the first time a silent film actress commented on the film they were in.

In the, I think, not vain hope that some people at Paramount might be reading this thread, I offer a link to another current thread which demonstrates that the natives are stirring restlessly when it comes to Robinson Crusoe on Mars.

Mr. Blythe
My question is rather simple...I noticed on the announcement of Black Sunday that there are no extra features included on this title, yet the documentary "The Kid Stays In The Picture" show parts of the trailer in it. Any reason why it isn't included in the DVD? and why are most older titles without trailers? I feel that without the inclusions of at least a trailer, the title is worth more to rent than it is to own. Granted they may not be in the best condition or be the best to begin with, but let the viewers and the movie buffs judge that. I don't ask for much, but all I ask for is a trailer with the movie along with the feature the way it's meant to be seen and nothing more to take advantage of the DVD technology properly. I say include all trailers!!!! Hope to hear from you soon

SHIRLEY VALENTINE

One of my favourite movies of all time. I think the Greek scenery would translate wonderfully to DVD. What do you think?

Cheers
